Partners

Working Together for a Brighter Future

CHR believes the most productive way of advancing hydrogen research and the development of its commercial applications is through public and private partnerships which encourage and promote collaboration.  To continue this mission, CHR is actively recruiting research partners from the following areas:
  • Academia
  • Public Researchers
  • Private Firms Involved with Hydrogen Research and Development
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Start-Ups
  • Suppliers
  • Manufacturers
  • End Users

South Carolina Supports Hydrogen Research
CHR is funded and operated entirely by Aiken County government.  The center belongs to the South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance.  The state of South Carolina, its major research universities, leading businesses and manufacturers are also members of the alliance.

In addition, South Carolina's Competitiveness Council has endorsed hydrogen as a business cluster worthy of significant funding and support - further demonstration of South Carolina's ongoing commitment to hydrogen research and the role it will play in the coming hydrogen economy.
